In the Wink of a Wave, 10in x 20in, Original!

Heading to the coast of CA near Bodega Bay is a weekly event for my husband and me. We find the beauty refreshing. Post cancer, while losing my husband’s precious little sister to brain cancer, we headed to the coast for a reset. That night the wind was blowing, but the sun was shining through the waves turning them translucent green. I painted this as a reminder that I’m not the one that brings the waves in or creates this beauty. It helps my spirit to remember that even when I wish the One who knows would answer, “Why?!”, He is still good. The waves rolling in, help to remind me that I can trust Him amid my lack of understanding and control. I hope this reflection of that beauty refreshes your soul too.
