Wednesdays, my husband and I head to the coast for a walk in the evening.  So often we are tempted to cancel our trip because ______ (fill in the blank). Truth is whenever we do make it out there, we feel restored by sea air no matter what the weather. We have literally walked in the pelting rain on Dillon Beach. Our dog was not a fan! The reference photo for this painting was taken one Wednesday from the rocks up high looking down on Tomales Point and Dillon Beach. The sun peeking out from the clouds on top and bottom was a glorious surprise as we rounded the corner. This Silver Lining Vista is a reminds me that when dark cold clouds roll in, the Sun is still shining behind them- physically and figuratively.
