I love to go to the beach and walk in any weather. I find the rhythm of the waves soothing. The tide coming in and out reminds me that I’m not in control, and I can trust the One who is. The volume of the ocean water speaks to me of the fathomless depths of the Creator’s love. This brings me comfort even when I’m not happy with my current circumstances. On a walk at Dillon Beach after getting unwelcome news, I snapped a photo of the waves rolling in and out. A heart was beginning to form in the foam, and I then turned it into this painting. May it speak to you of your love for the ocean and God’s love for you.
