Alaskan Commute 16in x 20in- Original!

We have friends who live in Alaska. They came to visit and the reference photo for this painting was the screensaver on his phone. He was driving home from working on airplanes at the “ranch” where he works on airplanes, when the sun set at 3:45pm with a spectacular array of colors reflecting in the river below. This was my first try at capturing snow and all the colors in the white.

Acrylic on Canvas, original, 20in x 16in, by 1.5in and is painted on all sides.
